People in Kobanê are facing a Genocide
Ferhan Hec Îsa, Co-Chair of the Autonomous Administration Executive Council, is calling for the blockades of Kobanê to be lifted in order to prevent an imminent genocide of the people of Kobanê. For days, there has been a shortage of food and medicine.
Electricity, internet and water supplies have also been cut off. Adding to that, there is not enough space for the many refugees from the surrounding regions, some of whom are forced to stay and sleep outdoors in the snow and cold.
The number of children who died due to the conditions has risen to 6. People are melting snow to have water.
Hec Isa is calling on everyone who supports the people of Kobanê and stands up for humanitarian values, as well as international powers and humanitarian aid organizations, to intervene in Kobanê now.
Military preparations being carried out by the regime in Damascus are completely contrary to its proclaimed promises
In his statement the SDF fighter is once again making clear that the SDF are struggling to reach and end of the war. While the Jolani-Regime is speaking about a ceasefire of 15 days and giving immense promises especially to the Kurdish people, the reality is the opposite: Kobanê is under siege and attacks continue in the Kobanê countryside. The HTS forces of the regime as well as ISIS and other jihadist groups under the leadership of the Turkish State, are reinforcing their troops and heavy weaponry in the Hasakah countryside. Their war crimes are recorded on video daily. While they are trying to fool the public the war continues.
