People’s Caravan to defend Humanity
Today starts the “People’s Caravan to defend Humanity” from Europe to Kobanê. In 4 routes of car caravans people of the International movement drive to Kobanê. They are following a call of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria to mobilize all international forces to resist against HTS, ISIS and Turkish supported forces.
In Hannover and Cologne two press conferences will be held to start the action. The rallies in Hannover and Cologne mark the beginning of the People’s Caravan and draw attention to the war crimes and the comeback of ISIS in Syria.
Jolani: Invite to WEF canceled
The organizers of the World Economic Forum canceled the invite for Jolani to join the forum. The statement reads that the invite was canceled due to the attacks on North-East-Syria. Most likely the organizers are afraid of the protests that have been announced.
YPJ Fighters braid their hair as a sign of resistance
As a response to jihadist fighters who tried to humiliate fallen women fighters by cutting off their hair, YPJ fighters from all frontlines published videos showing how they make their braids as a sign of resistance.
One video was even published from the besieged Aqtan prison near Raqqa, where the comrades resist since 4 days and are subjected to continuous attacks.
Insurances financing War-Machinery
During the night the two insurance companies AXA and Allianz, who are financing the war machinery, became the targets of militant actions in Leipzig, Germany, as well as a fascist turkish center in Hamburg. The actions made clear that there will be no insurance for war and our insurance is the solidarity of the people.
Gunfire of the jihadist gangs is continuing but resistance as well
A reporter of Ronahî TV that is reporting from the frontline of Hasakah shows that the gunfire of the jihadist gangs is continuing. An interviewed fighter of YPJ explained that “whatever weapons they will use against us, we will resist and take the revenge for our martyrs, especially the women fighters whose braids have been cut off”.
The Autonomous Administration called on the resisting people, as well as their friends all over the world to intensify the resistance against the attacks.
Kobanê remains besieged, while SDF, YPJ and YPG are resisting the attempts of turkish backed groups to advance towards the City.
