21.01.2026, 22:00 – KOBANE IS IN DANGER
The Turkish army is deploying troops and tanks alongside the Turkish border, building pressure especially on Kobanê. In the countryside of Kobanê the fighting is continuing but the attackers are still not able to reach the city. The jihadist forces cut off the internet line, as well as electricity and water line, that connected Kobanê with the Tishreen Dam, leading to a humanitarian crisis.
The resistance in the Al-Aqtan prison near Raqqa continues. Since 3 days the fighters of YPJ/YAT are defending the besieged prison, keeping thousands of prisoners from escaping. The forces of the Jolani-regime cut off the water supply and took the prison under heavy fire, nevertheless are not able to advance.
In the last days especially lots of young people passed the borders to Rojava.
While a lot of them reached their goal, some were wounded or martyred through bullets of the Turkish border patrol. Following the people that were crossing the border to Rojava from North- and South Kurdistan in the last days, also DEM- and BDP party delegations arrived in Rojava today.
Furthermore in the Til Koçer region a big amount of ammunition of the regime forces detonated due to an accident, killing a lot of jihadists. Fighters of the same forces were seen on videos, destroying martyr cemeteries and humiliating the bodies of fallen YPJ fighters.
During all these attacks and war crimes the Jolani-regime is committing, they are again talking about a ceasefire. The reality shows that the war continues and the peoples resistance is the only option.
