Call to Action for North East Syria

Last night, on 23 October 2024, the fascist forces of the Turkish state began an intense bombing attack on the countryside, villages, and cities of North-East Syria. The center of the latest attacks was Rojava, but also Şengal and the mountains of Southern Kurdistan were targeted. Again people woke to the sound of bombs falling around them while workers found themselves risking their lives to continue producing vital supplies for the people. Some civilians and workers have already been martyred and more badly injured. The strikes of the drones destroyed bakeries, petrol and electricity stations. Centers of the Asayîş (Internal Defense Forces) were also another main target, in which already several members of the Asayîş forces were martyred. Turkey is putting all people of North-East Syria under siege. Destroying services belonging to the sustainability of the society shows a clear attack on the achievements of the people to be self-organized.
The role of the states in Europe like Germany, Britain, Spain and Italy is clear. All states supply Turkey with the weapons it then uses to attack North-East Syria and the revolutionary society there. Their intention is only to expand their support of Turkey as shown by recent discussions between all five states to send Eurofighter jets made by Airbus, BAE Systems, and Leonardo from Europe to Turkey.
These most recent attacks come just over a year after those of last year. In October 2023 Turkey began bombing critical civilian infrastructures: the attacks did not stop until January 2024.
To stop the attacks and stand with the people of North-East Syria in the defence of the democratic and equal life and system that is build up there. We must give a strong response by fighting together and putting enough pressure on the Turkish state to make it politically impossible for them to make further attacks. To do this we must be organized.
Join local actions and organise your own, this is fundamental to make others aware of the reality of the people here and to influence the states and companies complicit in the attacks.
